“I’m delighted to embark on a path that will enable me to operate both in England and France. I’m aware of the welcoming tradition associated with the Montfort & Préaux name, so you will be greeted cordially when you visit!
I’ve been very passionate about the European racing for around 20 years. In my opinion, France exhibits the highest level of potential in terms of growth within the European racing. The racing itself, along with the breeding and sales, all serve to demonstrate an exceptional level of organization, favorable to breeders and owners. I’ve been investing in stallion shares for several years and bred my mares to Le Havre, Siyouni, Almanzor, Wootton Bassett, Dabirsim and Kendargent on a regular basis...”
Nurlan Bizakov, owner of Haras de Montfort & Préaux

Because health protocols are a constant concern, our 150 boxes are split over five dedicated yards: three are reserved to broodmares, including a foaling unit with 25 boxes equipped with CCTV cameras. Two individual yards are set aside for yearlings and stallions.
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of your horses, a dedicated and experienced team will ensure the smooth running of each stage of the breeding process on a daily basis.
Haras de Montfort & Préaux has welcomed two classic stallions in the last decade, including Le Havre (Noverre), sire of five Gr1 winners. Nurlan Bizakov's French stallion project has been completed with the purchase of the remarkable sprinter Golden Horde: aGr2 winner at two and a Gr1 graduate at three. Regarding this newcomer to the stallion ranks in 2021, Tony Fry said: “He’s an impressive horse. We're going to send him over 20 mares - our very best ones. We believe in him massively. Great support to a new sire is one of the keys to Le Havre's success at Montfort & Préaux.”
Nurlan Bizakov added: “In the French stallion division, there is a place for a sire with the profile of Golden Horde. Bearing the very clear imprint of Pivotal (Polar Falcon) - his dam's sire - he is a Gr1 winner who immediately wowed Tony, Mathieu and myself. We’re all excited by the prospect of making the Gr1 Commonwealth Cup winner available to breeders, but also of supporting him with some very good mares.”
Mathieu Alex concluded: “Horses of Golden Horde stature presents a superb opportunity to European breeders!”
