In sire-power we trust!

Since 2020 we have been working hard to develop our vision of «Sire Power» in France, while offering what we believe to be an elite prospect at each and every price-point. After a very busy 2024 season which saw the introduction of three outstanding prospects, Sumbe looks set to make another splash on the stallion scene in 2025 as high-class import Charyn will join our 4 existing divisional leaders at stud to become the 5th Group 1 winner on our roster.

Charyn’s scintillating victory in the Gr.2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte in October of his juvenile season, where he displayed incredible speed to reel in a solid field on soft ground, was only a preview of wonders to come. Carrying the natural brilliance he was bred for over a mile, Charyn’s achievements in 2024 have been nothing less than remarkable with a historical treble of stallion-making Gr.1s  in the Queen Anne Stakes, the Prix Jacques le Marois and the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. He is a rightful champion-miler in Europe and perhaps the best horse of the year. We are looking forward to running him in Japan on the 17th of November, which will mark his final race before coming to France as a stallion with a fee of €35,000.

Co-leading the line-up in 2025, World Champion Mishriff will be standing his second season at a fee of €16,000. With a promising first book of international-class mares carrying a wide array of bloodlines and aptitude profiles, Mishriff seems to be in a good spot for the upcoming freshmen sires race that will kick-off in 2027 and there is little doubt this close relative to Invincible Spirit and Kodiac will attract more elite domestic and international mares next season while his outcrossed pedigree will play out as an additional «it factor».

Next up, our pair of juvenile champions Angel Bleu at €8,000 and Belbek  at €6,000, both coming off busy first seasons, will work in tandem again to make the most of their common Gr.1 Jean-Luc Lagardère laurels, although they have more than this crown to share as both trained on to defeat future Group 1 winners in their later racing years, proving to be rare combinations of precocity and durability. While they share the honours of being among the smartest two-year-olds of their respective crops, these two are a living proof that the same ability might come in a variety of shapes and sizes. As they represent two important yet separate bloodlines, they can be used alternatively for most mares looking to build on proven stallion pedigrees and stallion-making race records.

Another member of the Dark Angel tribe like Charyn and Angel Bleu, Golden Horde will certainly garner attention again in his 5th season at stud thanks to the early promises flashed by his first runners this season. Meanwhile, the legacy of his dam Entreat continued to unfold, with Golden Horde’s sibling Camille Pissaro earning serious stallion-prospect credentials off an explosive Gr.1 Jean-Luc Lagardère score on Arc day. Having massively supported him, we have an important sample of his stock at hand which makes us very confident for the future as he seems to have more aces up his sleeve. Golden Horde will stand at €4,000.

It is never too early to start making the right choices. Our team will be on deck to provide you with the best service and advice through the season.
